Hello fellow bargainers! My name’s Natalia and I’m one of the three that shares this blog. Today I wanted to share with you when it’s the right time to get the best deal in your favorite stores. I’ve worked retail for about three and half years so I have a pretty good idea on when’s the best time to go shopping. Down below I’ve provided four tips on how to get a more bang for your buck.
Shopping Off-Season

I’m sure some of you guys have heard of Off-Season shopping, but just in case some of you guys haven’t it’s where stores mark down their seasonal items such as holiday collections to very low prices so that they are able to rid of them to make room for new product. The sales can be as high as 50-70% off old collections. This is where you, the bargainer, comes in to swoop in on these deals before they’re gone.
Loyalty Programs

Okay, I know you probably saw this one and rolled your eyes a little because we all know how annoying those promo emails can be taking up space in our inboxes. Just trust me on this one when I saw these loyalty programs will LITERALLY save you money. With most reward programs with every dollar spent is a number points that gets received and over time coupons are sent. Well if done right, you can save A LOT of money with the coupons by using them with the right promotions. I once got a pair of jeans that were 60% off and use a $15 coupon and only spent $5!! Sign up for the loyalty programs at your favorite stores and you won’t be disappointed.
Off Pricer Stores

Off pricer stores have been around for a good minute and I feel like not many people realize how much of a bargain you can find in these stores. Obviously, stores like Nordstrom Rack and Saks off 5th might have some items that are still a little on the pricier side, but you will still find deals that are worth it. There are other stores that are more wallet friendly such as TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Ross, etc. A good tip when shopping at these stores is to go to a location that is in a really nice area because retail stores base where they sell certain items off the location of the store. Chances are you’re more than likely to have a better selection.
Thrifting

This one might actually be my favorite one only because it’s something that can be done with friends. I’ve had my fair share of thrifting trips and I can honestly say you need patience for it because of the amount of digging you have to do, but if you’re going with the right people then it can be really fun. When thrifting, like I said in the previous tip, it’s all about LOCATION. For example, of you go to a thrift shop in Beverly Hills, then you more than likely to find name brands items at low prices. With this tip try to have fun with it as it can be turned into a fun experience.
Those are all the tips and tricks I have for you today and hope you’re able to benefit from at least one of them. Be sure to check back next week for more insides on how to be the best shopper. Happy bargaining!
